SELF ESTEEM | RESPECT | RESPONSIBILITY

As its name alludes to, the Girls’ Right of Way project had the original intention of providing a path to help at-risk girls realize their full potential and thereby help reverse societal problems which were inherent in certain communities. This of course is just an extension of the Coore Foundation’s Youth Health Intervention Mission. Then GROW grew. Below are a few of our current undertakings.

Girls' Right of Way projects offer our protégé the chance to grow a sense of self-esteem, respect, and responsibility.

GROW RHYTHM

The GROW SOLE project sends gently used shoes, sneakers, and flip-flops of all styles and sizes to underprivileged girls and boys.

When it comes to girls’ health and HIV, our focus is simple: No new infections. That is the goal behind our No New Infections campaign.

Take one girl. Provide her with a safe environment that encourages self-esteem, respect, sharing, and responsible decision-making.

Reading and writing are seeds that grow a better future. But many of the children we work with lack these essential skills.

Put an instrument in the hand of a child and a whole new world opens up. That’s the idea behind our Youth String Orchestra programs.
